Kathryn Fitzhugh Middleton

Kathryn Fitzhugh Middleton, 74, a loving, caring and giving friend, mother, and wife, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 in Tyler, TX. She is survived by her husband Bob, son Jim, his wife Suzanne, granddaughter Brenna and grandsons Stephen and John. Burial and graveside services will be held at 11:00 Monday, June 6, 2005, at Cathedral In The Pines Cemetery and will be under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Kathryn attended school in Little Rock, Arkansas, and graduated from Little Rock Central High School in 1948. She graduated from Little Rock University and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.

Kathryn was the former Miss Nancy of the Romper Room TV show at KFSA-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas through the late 50's. She started and was director of the Episcopal kindergarten in Fort Smith, and taught school in Alexandria, Louisiana; Orange, Texas; Russellville, Arkansas; and Fayetteville, Arkansas. She also owned the Four-Corners Gift Shop in Russellville, Arkansas for several years.
