Marj Miller

Marjorie Ann Miller, age 75 of Tyler, Tx, departed for her heavenly home on July 28, 2024, after her extensive battle with cancer. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 5 pm to 7pm at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Memorial Services on Friday, August 2 at 10am. Graveside to follow at 2pm on Friday in Milford, TX. Marj passionately loved her Lord and Savior, following him faithfully and joyfully until her homegoing. She was an active member of Green Acres Baptist Church since 1975. She will be remembered for her caring, loving, and empathetic nature that made everyone feel uniquely loved and special. She was admired for her trusting faith, perseverance in her fight with cancer and devotion to her family. Marj utilized her administrative gifts for various employers. She worked at Green Acres Baptist Church, architecture firms, and ended her career at TISD. Among all of these, her favorite was her time spent at home with her 4 daughters. She loved to share her gifts of artistry, crochet, embroidery, cross stitching, sewing, rug hooking, and quilting. She was encouraged by many dear friends throughout her life and her study of BSF, specifically her time with the Ladybugs. She will be remembered by many for her creative talents and deep affection for her cats and birds. Marj was born on April 30, 1949, to John and Sarah Jameson in Longview, Tx. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Mike and David, and sister, Francis. Marj is survived by her husband, Les Miller of 52 years; daughters, Tonia and husband Bryan Belknap, Stephanie and husband David Cobb, Mitzi and husband Wes Hood, Ginger and husband Blair Swaim; grandchildren, Mia and husband Stephan Elliott, McKennah and husband Chris Ramos, Abbey Hood, Morgan Cobb, Caden Swaim, Nate Hood, Coleman Swaim, Naomi Hood, Luke Hood, Lucy Hood, Shelby Belknap, and great-grandson Dean Elliott; and her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Honorary pallbearers are John Craddock, Rodney Price, Duffie Monroe, Morris Hallman, Jeff Jameson and Max Crittenden.
