Brenna Roseberry

Services for Brenna Rashell Roseberry, 53, of Tyler, will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Wilson officiating. Mrs. Roseberry passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Tyler. She was born August 24, 1970, in Longview to Andrew Gugar, Jr. and Judy Ann Ekstrom. She was a 1988 graduate of Tyler Lee and attended Tyler Jr. College where she met her husband, Paul Roseberry, in the Geology Lab. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1992. She taught third grade for a number of years at Stepping Stone School and then became a stay-at-home mom. Brenna and Paul were married for 33 years and are the parents to two beautiful daughters Bradie and Blakely whom she adored. Brenna’s favorite pastimes were reading books, watching Hallmark Channel movies, texting and dining out with friends, and driving the Grace Community School Swim Team midi bus! She is survived by her loving family including her devoted husband, Paul; beloved daughters Bradie Roseberry of Texas City (Axe Em Jacks!) and Blakely Roseberry of Tyler (Boomer Sooner); her father, Andrew Gugar, Jr, of Tyler; her mother, Judy Ekstrom of Canyon Lake; and her stepmother, Susan Gugar of Flint. She is also survived by her much-loved siblings; her brother Michael Gugar and wife Kristen of Bullard, brother Daniel Blake McDonald and wife Jennifer of New Braunfels, brother Rickey Gugar of Flint, sister Jennifer Doss and husband Bobby, of Bullard, and brother Andrew C. Gugar of Flint. Brenna also has many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She loved her aunts, Teresa Gravley, Becky Castillo, Carol Irwin, and Betty Simmons; her cousins, Jeff Bonner, Tracee Carcasson, Monica Hill, Marcy Hill, Whitney Williams, Martin Simmons, and Ann Cline; her in-laws, Nita Roseberry, Angie and Macky Cantrell, and Byron and Leanna Roseberry; her nieces and nephews, Krista Cantrell, Kaleb Cantrell, Courtney Roseberry, Kaylee Roseberry, Kate Gugar, Olivia Gugar, Charlie Gugar, Carson Doss, Conner Jemeyson, and Sawyer McDonald. The family would like to say a special heartfelt thanks to our wonderful friends—the moms and dads of Grace Community School class of 2023! Your love, support, and prayers have been deeply felt.
