Services for Carl Dale Crawford, 61, of Whitehouse will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitehouse Cemetery with Derrell Bohannon officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Mr. Crawford passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 in Tyler. He was born April 21, 1960 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Carl Edward Crawford and Ruthanne Springer. Carl was the happiest when he was cooking for family and friends. He loved cooking “Sunday” dinner for anyone who wanted to come and eat. The more people that came to eat the better. He also took so much pride in his cars. Over the last few years, Carl entered several cars in area car shows. He was always on the lookout for new cars to buy. His family was his number one priority and the car shows was something they could all enjoy together. Carl also loved to travel. His idea of a great week was spending it in the Great Smoky Mountains with Amanda. Carl started out in Tyler, TX working in the paint and body business. He worked at King Chevrolet and eventually owned and operated C&C Paint and Body for many years. He eventually found his way in to the trucking business. He owned and operated his own trucking company, Carl Crawford Trucking located in Tyler, TX. He has been a part of the Jones Motors for over 25 years along with being a part of Wayne W. Sell Trucking family for the past 10 years. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Crawford and brother, Markie Crawford. He is survived by his loving family including wife, Amanda Crawford; daughter, Leah Crawford of Chapel Hill, TX; daughter, Nikki Crawford of Murchison, TX; daughter, Alishia Voudrie and husband, Chris of Minot, ND; son, Bryan Stanley of Center, TX; son, Tommy Jones of Benton, AR; son, Dalton Jones and wife, Hailey of Whitehouse, TX; son, Clayton Jones of Tyler, TX; mother, Ruthanne Springer of Findlay, OH; brother, Leslie Crawford of Findlay, OH; brother, Rob Patch of East Brady, PA; brother, Edward Crawford of Findlay, OH; and sister, Brenda Morris of Claremore, NC; and 6 grandchildren, Deziray Charping, Destiny Charping, Ashlynn Voudrie, Brinley Voudrie, Marcus Jones, Jameson Jones. Pallbearers will be Dalton Jones, Corey Stanton, Johnny Wayne Fleming, Bryan Stanley, Chase Goodwin, Rodrigo Duran.
