Ever Denmon

Services for Ever Sewell Denmon, 88 of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Old Sarepta Missionary Baptist Church in Sarepta, Louisiana with the Rev. Todd Pickard and Rev. Clint Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Sarepta Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Mrs. Denmon passed away, Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. She was born July 13, 1923 in Emerson, Arkansas to Burchell B. (Sam) and Ida Haynes Sewell. Along with all of her family Mrs. Denmon was a member of First United Methodist Church of Springhill, Louisiana. Mrs. Denmon attended and graduated from Springhill High School in 1942. She met and married the love of her life, Arthur C. Denmon in 1948. She was a beauty operator in Sarepta, Louisiana for twenty-five years before moving to Tyler in 1979 where she became an Apartment Manager for approximately seventeen years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved cooking and doing everything for her family. Mrs. Denmon was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, L.E. Sewell. Ever is survived by her loving family including her husband of 63 years, Arthur C. Denmon; sons, Thomas E. Denmon and Robert C. Denmon and wife Janice of Shreveport, LA.; daughter, Janice M. Chamness and husband Chuck of Tyler; grandchildren, Chelsea Acree, Paige Chamness, Peyton Chamness, Thomas Spencer Denmon, Garrett Autry Denmon and Logan Robert Denmon; sisters, Adene Mouser, Ruby Maus, Annie Lou Giles Dobbs; a host of other relatives and family, and family pet Laci. Pallbearers will be Garrett Autry Denmon, Logan Robert Denmon, Thomas Spencer Denmon, Rick Holland, Billy Stockton, Phil Drake, Terry Castle and Bruce Morris. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler.
