James Edward Noble

Services for James “Jim” Edward Noble, 63, of Whitehouse, will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 10:30 AM, at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Noble passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. He was born in Tyler, to the late Clyde and Hortence McGill Noble. Jim graduated from John Tyler High and then attended Tyler Junior College. He served in the military in the United States Air Force with the rank of Sergeant. Jim married the love of his life, Mary Lilly on August 9, 1975. They had two loving children. Jim was the owner and operator of Quality Lumber in Whitehouse as well as being a member of the Henry Bell Masonic Lodge in Whitehouse and of the Sharon Shrine Temple in Tyler Jim loved serving the Lord and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He loved serving and was a volunteer for hospice for many years. He enjoyed hunting with friends and was a fan of all sports. Jim so loved being with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 35 years, Mary Noble; son’s, Darwin Noble of Bentonville, AR., and Clifford Walker and wife Joey of Allen; siblings, Dennis Noble and wife Clarissa of Whitehouse, Mark Noble, Jeannie Chandler of Tyler and Kay Decker and husband Nick of Tyler; and grandchildren, Brandon and Blayne Noble of Bullard and Cami and Zack Casson of Allen; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Bobby Coker, Rodney Lough, Cary Medlock, Larry Nick, Nathan Noble and John Tyrrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Farley, Joe Pat Hagan, Bryant Langford, Luis Mendoza, Rafael Mendoza and Clyde Weaver. Visitation is scheduled from 5:30 – 7:00 PM on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703.
