Services for Jeremy Alan Kersh, 20 of Flint, TX, will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Kersh passed away, Sunday, March 25, 2007 in College Station. He was born April 30, 1986 in Tyler, TX to Bradley Lynn and Debbie Sue Kersh. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Living Hope Baptist Church in College Station. Jeremy graduated in 2004 from Grace Community High School; he was a member of the Calculus Team "The Piranhas", the National Honor Society and he loved sports and music. Jeremy was a man with a vision. He knew exactly the road he was to travel. God blessed him with the mind of an engineer. Jeremy was realizing his dream of attending Texas A&M, where he was currently a junior on the Texas A&M Deans Honor Roll and a member of Tau Beta Pi (The National Engineering Honor Society), and soon to be inducted to Eta Kappa Nu, (The Electrical and Computer Engineering Society). He would have received his Aggie Ring on April 13, 2007, a day he longingly anticipated, and scheduled to graduate in May 2008. His honors, however, go way beyond those he received at Texas A&M. What a joy this young man has been to the lives of all he touched. Jeremy?s crown is now with the King of Glory. Years pass quickly, but his eternity is forever sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Mr. Kersh was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Eugene Copland and uncle, Doug Copland. Jeremy is survived by his loving family including his parents, Bradley and Debbie Copland Kersh of Flint; brothers, Joshua Paul Kersh of Tyler and Brandon Lynn Kersh of Tyler; maternal grandparents, Dottie and George Hall of Tyler; paternal grandparents, Lynn and Sue Kersh of Tyler; aunts & uncles, David Copland of Tyler, Dennis and Kim Copland of Garland, Karl and Donna PanKratz of Tyler, Brenda and Lynn Hogan of Tyler, Kim and Scott Kersh of Whitehouse, Karla and Cevin Price of Tyler, Janette and Garrick Hayes of Bullard; cousins, David Copland, Jr., Matt, Amanda, and Bryan Copland, Danny and Brett Vaughan, Matthew and Jarod Hogan, Ryan Kersh, Shea Kersh Yeargain, Lance and Erika Price, Zachary, Emily and Olivia Hayes; and also survived by a special friend, Stephanie Miltello of College Station. Pallbearers will be Ryan Kersh, Matthew Hogan, Jarod Hogan, Danny Vaughan, Brett Vaughan, David Copland Jr., Matt Copland, Bryan Copland, Brice Harris, Andy Clinton, Daniel Weaver, and Jack Wheeler. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703.
