Koen Andrew Skelton

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Koen Andrew Skelton, who entered the arms of Jesus on July 4, 2026, at the age of 14. Though his time on earth was far too short, KoKo, had a light that brightened every room he entered and every life he touched. He had a kind heart, a beautiful smile, and a spirit that brought comfort and happiness to those around him. Whether he was spending time with family or hanging out with his buddies, riding 4 wheelers, playing football, loving on his 3 Boston Terriers or simply being his silly self, he made every moment count. He especially loved being a big brother to his eight year old bubba, Eli, and teaching him everything about life. Koen was deeply loved by his parents, family and countless friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will never fade. While we grieve the loss of his physical presence, we find peace in knowing that he is forever safe in the presence of his Savior. Our faith reminds us that this goodbye is not forever and we hold tightly to the promise that we will see him again. He is survived by his loving parents, Holly and Ross Campbell and Colby Skelton; siblings, Emma Skelton, Cadence Campbell, Chloe Campbell and Eli Skelton; along with many grandparents, aunts, uncles, countless cousins, friends and all who were blessed to know and love him. Although our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the 14 precious years we were given with him. His love, laughter and memories will remain with us always. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 Our sweet boy will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Koen during visitation on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. A service honoring Koen will be directly after at 10:00 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas. We will also be having a celebration of life which will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made ‘In Memory of Koen Andrew Skelton’ to any Texas National Bank branch. Koen was extremely passionate about football, and these donations will be used to help other children with football camps, training and other football needs. Guests are invited to bring a handwritten note, letter or personal mementos during the visitation or service that will be placed with Koen. Your presence, prayers and support are a source of comfort to our family during this difficult time.
