Lawrence Bruch

Services for Lawrence A. "Larry" Bruch, 44, New Chapel Hill, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July, 30, 2005 at Stewart Family Funeral Chapel with Dr. Ray Davis, and Dr. Glenn Strauss officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Bruch passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2005 in Henderson County. Larry was born August 20, 1960 in Austin, Texas where he grew up and has lived in the Tyler area for the last 15 years with his wife, Babette and son, Brandon. He proudly served his country as a Marine for 4 years receiving numerous honors including graduating at the top of his class and Meritorious Mast. Larry loved living in Chapel Hill with his family where he enjoyed being outdoors on his property, fishing and restoring old cars but his greatest love was his family. He was very proud of his son, Brandon, especially with his accomplishments in school and playing sports, while coaching him in baseball, football and soccer. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where six years ago he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. Because God's word is true, we know that Larry is in the very presence of Christ right now. We are rejoicing his grand entrance into the kingdom of heaven where he will live eternally with his Lord and Savior. Larry is survived by his loving family including his wife of 20 years, Babette Bruch; 19 year old son, Brandon Bruch; parents, Joseph L. and Nancy Bruch; mother-in-law, Nelda Madrid of Garland; father-in-law, Joe McDowell and wife, Sandra of Washington; brothers, Jimmy Bruch and wife, Anna of New York, Daniel Bruch of Colorado, and Jerry Bruch of Austin; sister, Elizabeth Ann Drummond and husband, Eric of Colorado; four nephews and two nieces; and more friends and family than can be named. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.W. Richards and Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Bruch; nephew Cody Bruch; brother-in-law Duffy McDowell; and cousin Mike Bruch. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., south Tyler 75703.
