Linda Jean Telford

Linda Jean Telford, 48, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 20, 2017. Linda was born on November 20, 1969 at Vandenberg Air Force Base to Ronald and Patricia Pearson. She spent much of her youth living in the Dallas area and was a 1988 graduate of Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas. She met Jeffrey J. Telford, who was to be the love of her life, at David McDavid Acura in Plano, Texas, and they were married at Legacy Drive Baptist Church in Plano, Texas on July 14, 1990. Jeff and Linda raised two daughters, Ashley and Abigail; and had one granddaughter, Hadley. Linda earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Grayson College and became a Registered Nurse in 2011. At the time of Linda’s passing she served as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Advanced Medical Pediatric Home Health Care. Anyone who knew Linda would attest to her genuine kindness and compassionate heart. She delighted in caring for others and making them feel special. She was a brightly shining light who brought warmth to all those around her. As her cousin Trent recently said, "Linda would give you the shirt off of her back and then apologize for not giving it to you sooner". Above all else, Linda cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She invested her life in her family - they were her source of greatest joy and happiness. Linda delighted in being outdoors, soaking up the sun, recharging her soul in the majesty of God's creation. She loved to travel and explore, especially with her family and close friends. Linda will be dearly missed by her loving family: husband Jeff; daughters, Ashley and Abigail; granddaughter, Hadley; parents, Ronald and Patricia Pearson; sister, Michele and husband Joel and their three children - Hannah, Hayley, and Elijah; sister-in-law, Jennifer Stout and husband Derek and their three children - Barrett, Sutton, and Morgan. Services for Linda will be held at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Visitation will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with the formal service beginning at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Kim Beckham. Following the service, burial will take place at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler with a reception at Hollytree Country Club completing the proceedings.
