Mary Ann White

Services for Mary Ann White, 83, of Tyler, will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rt. Rev. Walter Banek officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. White went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from Hospice Home Place in Tyler. She was born October 27, 1934 in Van Zandt County, Texas to Bonnie Clyde Hendley and Jewell Perry Hendley Jennings. Mary Ann, and her husband Bob, were members of Good Shepherd Reformed Episcopal Church, Tyler. She graduated from Tyler High School in 1952. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, followed by her husband, Bobby J. White, in 1999, after 46 years of marriage. She took pride in being a “Homemaker” in every sense of the word. Also preceding Mary Ann in death were her sister, Linda Jennings Riley and husband, Rev. Royce Riley and their son, Chip Riley; and brother and sister-in-law, L.T. and Etha Hendley. She is survived by her loving family including son, Randall G. White, DDS and wife Tammy; daughter, Kathy White Wolter; and devoted brother and sister-in-law, Ardene and Sue Hendley, Tyler. She was “Nannie” to 5 grandchildren, Joshua Hidalgo, Bradley Hidalgo, Jeb Wolter, Jonathan White and Kathleen Heimer and to 8 great-grandchildren Michalah Garrett, Juliet Heimer, William White, Eleanor White, North Hidalgo, Layla Hidalgo, Conner Hidalgo and Talon Hidalgo. Pallbearers will be Greg Hendley, Bob Peppard, John Hidalgo, Chad Hidalgo, Benjamin Peppard and Steve McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Riley, Anthony Hidalgo and Richard Monk. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler. At the time of the service, a webcast can be accessed on the Stewart website. Special thanks go to all the wonderful caregivers that assisted Mary Ann and her family during a difficult, but glorious time.
