Patricia Lee Bolton

A memorial service for Patricia Lee Bolton will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Patricia Lee Bolton went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 15, 2015. She was one of the first babies born at the new Medical Center Hospital in Tyler on February 15, 1952. Lovingly known as “Pitty Pat” to friends, nieces, nephews and grandchildren, Pat was an adoring mother, doting grandmother, fun-loving sister and gracious friend. While she will be profoundly missed, her loving and vivacious spirit will continue in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Pat’s love of the Lord was evident in her personality. She was forever making people laugh and even in times of sorrow she found a way to make you feel better. She was a consummate caregiver and honored family and friends with her handmade gifts of blankets, jewelry and clothes. Her best times involved her family and especially her grandchildren who she taught life’s most precious truths. Preceded in death by her parents Glen Jackson Smith and Agnes Lee Griggs Smith, Pat attended Tyler ISD schools and graduated from John Tyler High School, class of 1970. She earned a degree in Respiratory Therapy from Tyler Junior College and enjoyed a 24-year career in nursing. She moved to Luling, Texas in 2007 where she was a member of Central Baptist Church. Pitty Pat would tell you that the best day of her life was a cold day in January 1970 when her daughter, Kamecca Sha’ Bolton, was born. Pat’s world revolved around Sha’ and she loved her daughter and only child with every ounce of her being. She is survived by her daughter Kamecca Sha' Bolton of Lockhart, Texas; granddaughter Taylor Balbas-Beach and her husband Jerald Beach of San Marcos, Texas; grandson Elijah Navor Hernandez of Kyle, Texas; sister Glenda Kay Smith Jewett and her husband Larry Jewett of Arp, Texas, brother Billy James Smith of Frankston, Texas; niece Angela Thomas-Odom and her husband Steve Odom of Henderson, Texas, nephews Lane Thomas of Tyler, Texas; Chad Smith his wife Jennifer Smith of Tyler, Texas; Cody Smith of Tyler, Texas, and great grandson Maddox Beach of San Marcos. You will be greatly missed Pitty Pat. I love you more.
