Peggy Pampe Bugh

A celebration of Peggy Elaine Pampe Bugh, 58, of Arp, will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Green Acres Baptist Church Chapel with Bro. Joe Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Peggy Bugh passed away on February 22, 2010 in Arp. She was born December 24, 1951 in Olney, IL to August Dean Pampe and Norma Jean Markman Pampe Bunting. Peggy was raised in Parkersburg, IL and graduated from East Richland High School in Olney, IL. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Olney Central College as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse in the field of pediatrics. She worked at Weber Medical Clinic in Olney, IL before moving to Tyler in 1983. Then Peggy worked at Trinity Pediatric Clinic specializing with special needs children and also in connection with the Children’s Miracle Network. Peggy currently worked as the school nurse at Gary Elementary for Tyler Independent School District. She was active in children’s projects and educating parents on health related skills. Peggy’s passions, were her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, and her children. She also enjoyed music, gardening and her dog, Auggia and cat, Lady Girl. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, August Dean Pampe and Michael and Christina’s father, Thomas Evan Bugh. She is survived by her loving family including her son Michael Evan Allen Bugh of Tyler; daughter, Christina Harris Chastain and husband Michael of Troup; mother, Norma Jean Bunting of Olney, IL; sisters, Sharon Aileen Pampe Roth and husband Gerald Eugene of Kyle, Tx, Janie Pampe Steber and husband Edward of Charleston, IL, Cathy Lynn Pampe Arteberry and husband Clifford of Parkersburg, IL, and Julie Ann Pampe Riddle of Olney, IL; brother, Paul Allen Pampe and wife Janice of Parkersburg, IL; and grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Harris, Rebekah Coryn Harris, Colin Matthew Chastain and Lauren Ashley Chastain.. Pallbearers will be Scott Steber, Brian Arteberry, Craig Arteberry, Mark Thacker, Keith Gerber and Phillip Fowler. Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Counts and Matt Parks. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, Texas 75703.
