Services for Robert Wayne Krantz, 48, are scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home's Chapel with Brad Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Arp with a graveside service under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Robert Wayne Krantz, long time resident of Whitehouse, left this mortal world on Saturday, June 9, 2007 from complications from a heart attack. Wayne was born on January 15, 1959 in Winnsboro to Robert William Krantz and Charlie Lou (Dot) Caviness, both who preceded him in death. Wayne was also preceded in death by his best-friend Charles Randy Matthews. Wayne joined the Tyler I.S.D. Transportation Department in 1979 and continued to work there until the time of his death. Wayne once said his life had been blessed when he married his best-friend and soul-mate Becky Marie Gentry Mathews on October 01, 1994. Together, they raised their only child, Eugenia Charlene Mathews-Krantz. She not only felt that Wayne was the best father in the world, but her best friend in the world too. Through out his life Wayne would be a source of constant entertainment, inspiration, strength, and love to all who knew him, either personally or professionally. A hard working man, who was known for his mechanical abilities, quick humor, and always ready to help a friend in need, he amassed a number of friends through out the Transportation Industry. On April 27, 2006 Wayne became the proudest Pee-Paw in the world when his daughter Eugenia and her husband Jason gave birth to twin boys, Jacob Charles Eugene Woods and Terell Wayne Riley Woods. Soon the two little boys and their Pee-Paw would be in-separable, always on the go, laughing, and enjoying the time they spent together. Wayne leaves behind the love of his life, best-friend and wife, Becky Marie Gentry Matthews Krantz; a treasured daughter, Eugenia Charlene Matthews-Krantz and husband Jason C. Woods; his pride and joy twin grandsons, Jacob Charles Eugene Woods and Terell Wayne Riley Woods all of Whitehouse; sister, Sandra Kay Green of Arkansas; and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Kenny Beall, Tommy Reed, Martin Chapman, Aaron Brown, Darvin Willis, Junior Silvas, James Krska, and Jake Chlegel. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Transportation Department of Tyler Independent School District, Jason Woods, Jacob Woods, Terell Woods, Gerld Barned, and Rev. Willie Bryant. Visitation for the Krantz Family will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 6pm - 9pm at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler 75703.
