Trevor Michael Pierson

Trevor Michael Pierson, 47 of Talihina, OK went to be with our Lord on August 1, 2026. Trevor was born April 26, 1979 in Shattuck, Oklahoma the son of Mike Pierson and Donna Lundy Pierson. Now Donna Shearer. Trevor graduated from Colleyville High School in Grapevine, TX in 1998, then went into the military service. Trevor joined the Air Force in 2003 and served until honorably discharged in 2010. Trevor served as active duty, reserve, national guard, and a civilian contractor as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeymen. Trevor received numerous awards for his 16 years serving in the military and exceptional work on aircraft air frames. Life after the military lead Trevor into independent insurance adjusting for Eberl. He had claims in Alabama, Mississippi, Colorado, Texas before he settled down to adjusting from his desk. Trevor loved the outdoors, especially the mountains. He loved fishing and hunting. There was always a competition about who was going to get the biggest and most fish between Gary (his other Dad) and Trevor. Usually Gary won both, but occasionally, Trevor would get the largest! Trevor bought a bow last year to go deer hunting. On the first day of bow season, Trevor had spotted a, twelve-point, beautiful buck. About the time Trevor was pulling back on the bow getting ready to release, a hunter came walking up behind Trev and the buck ran off. Trevor, loved the rush of adrenaline (even as a child) so he always pushed sports he loved to the max. As his mother, I knew I could not keep him safe….so I PRAYED a Lot! Trevor especially loved rock climbing and dirt bike riding with Thomas Martin. I remember on one climb Trevor came upon a rattlesnake in a crevasse. He told me (with a huge smile) he quickly grabbed the snakes’ tail, then whipped it off the mountain wondering the reaction of the people down below (no one was hurt)! He also loved whitewater kayaking with Dan Braly (an Air Force co-worker). In the last few days, a man had called me because he had heard of Trevor’s passing. Apparently, Trevor had either mowed the man’s grass several times or fixed something around his house. This man told me he did not trust most people to help him but he did trust Trevor. That was Trevor, he always tried to help people, never taking their money for his work. Trevor is survived by his only child, Kaliana Pierson, whom he loved with all his heart. He taught Kaliana, from a young age, the importance of strength,resilience, and finding peace in the beauty of nature through the many adventures and outdoor memories they shared together.Further remaining to cherish Trevor’s memory are Donna and Gary Shearer, mother and step-father, Mike and Teri Pierson, father and step-mother, Kristin and Chris Fruchey, sister and brother-n-law, Zoe Fruchey, niece, Connie Bradford, aunt, Sean and Kim Bradford, cousins, Kinzlea Hinds, cousin, Marti and Andy Levinson, stepsister & husband, Josh and Melissa Lane, stepbrother & wife, Roy White, Step Grandfather, Leanne and Keith Waddell, aunt and husband. Conner and Anya Galloway, cousin and wife. Preceding Trevor in death are Vance E. (Pete) and Jimmie Lou Lundy, Maternal grandparents, Leo and Imogene Pierson, Paternal grandparents, Betty White, Step grandparent. Steve Bradford, Uncle. Services for Trevor will be Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Tyler. Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sean Bradford, Chris Fruchey, Thomas Martin, Chris Gilliam, Cody Dillard, and Cody Crank. Honorary pallbearer will be Dirk Sams. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Trevor’s memory may be directed to the “Gary Senise Foundation."
