William C. "Bill" Culpepper, Jr., 61, Frankston, was called home to be with his Lord on February 16, 2007. A memorial services is scheduled for Monday, February 19 at 10:00 am at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Lou Thomas will officiate. Bill was born on June 28, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to William C. Culpepper, Sr. and Marguerite Locke Culpepper. Bill was an RN and held a BS in Health Care Management from the University of La Verne, La Verne, CA; a BS in Health Sciences from George Washington University in Washington, DC; and a Master of Health Administration from Chapman University in Orange, CA and certified Home Care Executive. Mr. Culpepper served in the United State Navy from 1963 until 1983 serving as a Hospital Corpsman including two years on board the USS Rentz in the Medical Clinic. While in the Navy he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Navy Unit Commendation Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and two Good Conduct Medals. Bill spent over 20 years in the health care industry and was employed by East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System in Tyler as the corporate director of Home Services. He was a past member of the Good Faith Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Bill will be remembered most for his loving care, his diligent work ethics and his devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Trish; three daughters, Carrla Leszcynski and husband, Mark, of Denison, TX; Molly Gamino and husband, Sergio, of Ft. Belvior, VA, and Anna Culpepper of Hawaii; one step-daughter, Stacy Kelly of Minneapolis, MN; two step-sons, Donny Kelly and wife, Samantha, of Shreveport, LA. and Jamie Kelly and wife, Jenny, of San Diego, CA.; three sisters, Hattie Simpson and husband, Sid, of Fayetteville, AR, Sue Trucks and husband, John, of Pine Bluff, AR, and Maggi Wadsworth of Pine Bluff, AR; and one brother, Bob Culpepper of Springdale, AR. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Dr., Tyler, TX 75701.
