Anna Bell Oliver

December 2, 1927 - January 31, 2022

Mrs. Oliver passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 in Tyler. She was born December 2, 1927 in Commerce, TX to Cary Alpine Barron and Annie Virginia Herrington Barron. Anna was a member of First Baptist Church in Tyler for over 70 years. She and her husband were very active in the children’s ministry in their early years. She graduated from Tyler High School in 1945. Anna held the position of Office Manager for Dr. Merwyn G. Pickle for many years until her retirement. Anna was an avid writer and had her works published in Good Old Days magazines and books. She also loved to read and was active in book and reading clubs in Tyler. She loved traveling with friends and spending time with family. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, loving husband, Ed Oliver and granddaughter, Olivia Ann Nolley. She is survived by her loving family including her daughters, Judy Nolley of McKinney and Jana Mueller and husband, Matt of Chandler; grandson, Christopher Mueller and granddaughter, Alicia Noel Nolley.
