Graveside services for Janet Russak Horsley, 76, of Tyler will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rabbi Neal Katz officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Horsley passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Tyler. She was born August 3, 1945 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Dan and Esther Russak. After the family relocated from Oklahoma to Tyler in the 1950s, Janet met Tyler native Ronnie Horsley and they married in 1966. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2016, just months before Ronnie’s passing. Janet was a lifelong member of Temple Beth El in Tyler. A graduate of University of Texas, she taught Kindergarten until devoting herself full-time to making a home for her beloved husband and their children, Michael and Allison. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie, and her parents, Dan and Esther. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Darryl, Mike Gross, Tracy Lisner, and Robert Schwartz.
