John Mack Richburg
March 4, 1933 - December 14, 2021
John Mack Richburg passed away in Tyler on December 14, 2021. He was born to John S. and Nita F. Richburg in Abilene, Texas, on March 4, 1933, and grew up in Flint, graduating from Tyler High School in 1950 and attending the University of Texas at Austin. An Air Force veteran, he was a 40-year resident of Port Vincent, Louisiana, until he moved back to Tyler in the spring of 2021. His work in oil and gas inspection took him to refineries from St. Croix to Canada and all over the United States. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Regina, who preceded him in death. John is survived by daughter, Jana Jamison, and her husband Bill; son, John Dudley Richburg; and daughter Jyll Richburg and her husband Stacy Shew; grandchildren, Andi Jamison, Jack Jamison, Benjamin Shew and Delaney Shew; sister, Elnora Williams; and niece and nephew, Charelle Jackson and David Williams. In accordance with his wishes, no service will be held. We rejoice he is at peace with his Savior and treasure the time we shared together.
