A graveside service for Marion “Zeke” W. Ziober, 95, of Tyler will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler with Rev. Stephen Rhoads and Rev. Richard Luna officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Ziober passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in Tyler. He was born December 2, 1925 in Lane City, Texas to Joseph Ziober and Mary Shenkir Ziober. Zeke was married to Billie Jean Hill for 39 years. He and his first wife, Billie, had 3 sons, Ron, Barry and Steve. After her passing, Zeke married Donna K. Morgan of Longview. They enjoyed, for 26 years, spending their time with family, volunteering, doing 10 Navy Reunions, traveling, and so much more. Zeke was a charter member of Pollard Methodist Church. He loved to sing and he and Donna joined the Glory Singers where they sang with great joy God’s praises for many years. He did AARP Safe Driving at Pollard for 13 years; AARP Tax Aid for 14 years – always wanting to help others. He also helped at ETMC and Meals on Wheels for 14 years. Zeke was one of the first heroes to go to Washington, D.C. with Brookshires. What a wonderful, loving time he had. Thank you guys! Zeke was in Watkins-Logan VA Nursing Home for 2 years because of dementia. He had fallen so many times. He went from a walker to a wheelchair but he still wanted to get up. The loved him dearly. Thank you so much Watkins-Logan for all your support. He is leaving behind his wife, Donna Ziober; sons, Ron and Mary Ziober, Barry and Amy Ziober, Steven and Stephanie Ziober; and their children who are Auburne and Ricardo Diaz (Austynn, Corra, and Madden); Carley and Elliott Sutter (Everett, Wyatt, and Beckett); Mindy and Jon Still; Alicia and Caleb LaFrance (Brynlee); grandson, Cody and Kayla Ziober; daughter, Laura and Michael Benson (Josh and Justin); son, Larry and Crystal Wardrup (Riley Morgan and Parker). Visitation is scheduled from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler. Please join us as we celebrate Zeke’s going Home.
