Raymond "Blake" Kelly

November 22, 1985 - April 16, 2022

Raymond “Blake” Kelly, of Troup, Texas was born on November 22, 1985 in Tyler, Texas to the union of Gregory Alan Kelly and Anne Valentine Kelly. He passed away peacefully on April 16, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas following a tragic accident. Blake attended Owens Elementary School, Bullard Middle School and graduated from Bullard High School in 2004. He attended Tyler Junior College and graduated from TCU Farm and Ranch Management Program in 2008. Blake was active in the show cattle industry and loved his cattle as well as ranching. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Blake was a Christian and a member of First Christian Church of Tyler and gave his reaffirmation of Jesus Christ at Bullard Southern Baptist Church. He married his soulmate, Lindsey Leigh Jones, on September 24, 2016 in Gresham, Texas. Blake was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Coy Valentine and Mary Anne Valentine; his paternal grandparents, Robert Ray Kelly and Clara Jean Kelly; and by twin brothers, Jason Brooks Kelly and Spencer Alan Kelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Lindsey Kelly of Troup; father, Greg Kelly of Seymour; mother, Anne Kelly of Frankston; mother and father-in-law, Tammie and Kip Jones of Tyler; sister, Finley Fausett (Mike) of Flint; sister, Reagan McKinley (Matt) of Conroe; and brother, Tyler Kelly of Seymour; brothers-in-law, Dustin Jones (Adrienne) of Tyler and Brady Jones (Ashley) of Dallas. He is also survived by nephews, Brooks Alan McKinley and Parker Kyle McKinley of Conroe; as well as many cousins. Visitation will be held at Stewart Family Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Barron Jr. officiating. Final interment will be at Rose Lawn Perpetual Care Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers are Tyler Kelly, Colton Airhart, Jason Stinson, Josh Sackett, Geoff Harper, Chris Caves, Matt McGee, Josh Dildine and Kash Hines. Honorary pallbearers are Matt McKinley, Dustin and Brady Jones, Mike Fausett, Jim Gupton, Darwin Fuller, Ronnie Burris, Stu Dildine, Sam Moore, Danny Martin, Dan Hurst, Tim Kelley, Billy Kendrick, John Whitton and David Gilleland. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Bullard FFA Booster Club, P.O. Box 250, Bullard, Texas 75757 or to the Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
