Graveside services for Roy A. Raymond, 76, of Tyler will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at Rose Lawn Cemetery with Dwight Sowle officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Raymond passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Tyler. He was born July 12, 1945 in Saucier, Mississippi to Noland Raymond, Sr. and Minnie Azaleen Clark Raymond. Roy was a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded several honors including the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart during his time in service. Roy was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Goldie Edna Raymond; mother, Minnie Stokes; father, Noland Raymond; and brother, Joe (JB) Raymond. He is survived by his loving family including his children, Tara Walker and husband, Rusty and Dina Raymond and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Bethany and Jonathan Mefford, Rachel, Robert and Michael Walker and Cristopher Lopez; sister, Terri Savage and husband, Jim; brothers, Bud Raymond and James Raymond; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; several grandnieces and grandnephews; extended family, Alma Wade, Karen Walker, Jack Ballew, Jim and Barb Turner, John and Carol Turner, Warren and Lillian Boyne. Visitation is scheduled from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler.
