Terry L. Wynne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Services for Terry Wynne, 74, of Mineola will be held on Wednesday, December 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Green Acres South Campus with Pastor Daniel Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Wynne passed away Thursday, November 25th at his home in Mineola. He was born January 10, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Terry was a member of Green Acres South. He was discharged honorably from the United States Navy. He was a salesman for many years at Kirby Chemical and Restaurant Supply. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Wynne of Mt. Pleasant, brother, Sonny Wynne of Ft. Worth, and his sisters, Phyllis Schneberger of Ft. Worth and Alice DeLaura Wynne of Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his loving family including wife of 55 years, Patti of Mineola; son, Brandon “Boogie” Wynne and wife Karen (children: Braden, Baker, and Brenna); daughter, Andrea Tatum and husband Shayne (children: Gabe, Anna, and Morgan); son, Dustin Wynne and wife Aundi (children: Traeson, Tannon, and Tate); a brother, William James Wynne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Pallbearers will be Brandon “Boogie” Wynne, Dustin Wynne, Shayne Tatum, Braden Wynne, Baker Wynne, and Traeson Wynne. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Tatum, Tannon Wynne, Anna Tatum, Brenna Wynne, Tate Wynne, and Morgan Tatum. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30th at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler. If desired, memorials may be made to Iglesia Bautista Gracia De Dios (Grace of God Baptist Church), a Spanish speaking congregation sponsored by, and that meets at, Green Acres South Campus. Mr. Wynne had a special place in his heart for the work that Pastor Omar Cordero and his congregation are doing for the Spanish speaking community of the South Tyler area, and beyond.
