Services for Alyssa Marie Silva, 14, of Tyler will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Rosston United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at the Rosston Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Visitation is at Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Alyssa Marie Silva was called by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Tyler, to join her beloved family in heaven. She was born March 1, 2004 in Bellflower, California to Angel John Silva and Lillian Naomi Webb. Alyssa loved her family and friends. At school, she was often seen running to her teachers and friends, passing out hugs and showing off her pretty dresses. She enjoyed many things including dancing, music, puzzles, Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and her dog Rita. Her summers always included time at her grandparents’ house in Arizona, being spoiled with her grandmother’s famous enchiladas and huge portions of ice cream. Alyssa was a 7th grade student at Hubbard Middle School. Her little sister Emma would always generate the biggest smiles from Alyssa and her biggest hero has always been her older brother Joshua. Alyssa Maria Silva is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ronaldo Fidel Castro and by her fraternal grandfather, Andrew John Silva Sr. Her mother Lillian and her husband Vic Webb, her brother, Joshua, and sister, Emma, of Tyler and her father Angel Silva, of Phoenix, survive her. Her maternal grandmother Jennifer Lopez, fraternal grandparents Fulvia and Patrick Calton, and step-grandparents, Chip and Martha Webb and Karen and Vernon Smith, also survive her. She is also survived by her Aunt Nadia and cousins Richard, Hector, and Hollis, of Los Angeles, CA, Aunt Carolina and cousin Isaac, of Bakersfield, CA, Aunt Jamie and cousins Elena, Michael, Michelle, Alisa, Marissa and Jordan, of Bakersfield, CA, her Uncle Thomas and cousin Nathanial, of Bakersfield, CA, Aunt Joanna and cousin Xavier, of Bakersfield, CA, Uncle Andrew and cousin Alexis, of Boise, ID, Uncle Anthony and his wife Melissa and cousins Annabelle and Sophia, of Glendale, AZ, her Aunt Stacey and her husband Benton Bond and cousins Braxton and Brynn, of Houston, TX, Aunt Lisa and her husband John Walls and cousins Madison, Hannah and Jacob, of Tomball, TX, Aunt Sheila and her husband Patrick Gibson and cousins, Megan, Shelby and Gabby, of Pearland, TX. Pallbearers will be Angel Silva, Patrick Calton, Benton Bond, Braxton Bond, Joshua Silva and Vic Webb.
