Annabelle Fox

Services for Annabelle Fox, 86 of Katy, will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Lou Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mrs. Fox passed away, Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Rose's Retreat in Katy. She was born December 15, 1920 in Crew Lake, LA and orphaned at a young age. She had a brother and sister who were raised with her at the Waco Methodist Home. Ann later moved to Tyler where she became a telephone operator and met the love of her life a young Army Signal Corp Soldier named Ben Fox. Ann was very musically talented which was demonstrated greatly by having played the violin for the Tyler Symphony Orchestra, piano and organ for the Glenwood Methodist Adult Sunday School Class, and her long participation with their Organ Club. She adored her daughter Patty and was very supportive of all her endeavors. A special thanks to all her caretakers at Rose?s Retreat; specifically, Rose, Jeff, Kim, Peaches, and Shanta. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ben Fox; sister, Freda Hull Andretta; and brother, C. B. Malone. Ann is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Patricia Sanders and husband Clarence of Katy; grandchildren, Leslie Franchville and husband Bob of Katy and Mike Sanders and wife Dede of Katy; great grandchildren, Christopher Payne, Brittany Payne, Brandi Payne, Shelby Lennon, Zeke Sanders, and Chanzie Sanders; nieces, Deryl Ann Dobson, and Zelda Strong; and nephews, Waire Hull, Fred Hull, Johnny Malone, and Mark Malone. Pallbearers will be Mike Sanders, Clarence Sanders, Bob Franchville, and David Craft. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Class of Glenwood Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2007, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703. Memorials in honor of Ann Fox may be made to Resolutions Hospice, 21720 Kingsland Blvd., Suite 304, Katy, Texas 77450 or a Church/Charity of your choice.
