Clyde Elliott

Services for Clyde Elliott, 74, of Tyler, will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home with J. C. Tate and Dr. Jay Lockhart officiating with visitation following service. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Tyler under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Elliott passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Tyler. He was born August 27, 1942 in Teague to Clyde Clarence and April Joy Pickens Elliott. Clyde was a member of the Whitehouse Church of Christ. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. Clyde held the position of manager of pharmaceutical sales (Regional Director) with Bristol Myers Squibb for 30 years. Clyde was preceded in death by his mother, father, and infant sister, Denise. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 16 1/2 years, Barbara Ann of Tyler; brother, Bryan Elliott and wife Theresa Ann of Kirvin, TX; sisters, Myra Lenn Morasco of Boston, MA and Brenda Lee Coupay of New Orleans, LA; sons, Bryan Augustus and wife Tonya, Mark Randall and wife Sabrina Elliott of the Woodlands, TX and Jason Karl Elliott of Victoria, TX; grandchildren, Orion, Elias, Kennedy, Reagan, Davis and Hayes; nieces Rachel Joy Elliott and Danielle Renee Harrison. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Elders of Whitehouse Church of Christ, Jerry Mitchell, Dr. Aaron Duvall, Ernest Bennett, and Dr. Jay Lockhart, J.C. Tate, Ronnie Riggs, Rick Murphey, Dr. Richard J. Wallace Jr., Ken Hodo, Brian Allen, Terry Smith, Ravikiran Vasireddy, Adrian Almodovar, Dr. Glenn Roberts, James Surber, Leonard Gunz, and Ruben (R.K.) Shirley, Jim Whitt, David Frick and Chris Hollenshead. Congregational singing will be led by Paul Montandon. The family would like to thank Clyde’s physicians, nurses and the support staff at UT Health Northeast M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for their skill, care and concern.
