Services for Kenneth Allen Williams, 58, of Tyler, will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Morrow officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Mr. Williams passed away on April 9, 2025, in Tyler. He was born in April 12, 1966 in Port Lavaca, Texas, to William “Eddie” Williams and Melba “Elene” Hennesey Williams. Kenny graduated from Bay City High School in Bay City, Texas. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served as a tank mechanic in the First Armored Division at Fort Knox and received an honorable discharge at the end of his service. At the pinnacle of his career, he held the position of Parts Director with Classic Chevrolet before retiring. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Chuck and Jeff; and his infant son, Braden. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Cheryl; his daughter, Libby Woolcock and her husband, Chris, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; his stepson, Bradley Thompson, and his wife, Malisa, of Alba, Texas; his stepson, Logan Thompson, and his wife, Macie, of Quitman, Texas; and his stepson, Dustin Thompson and his partner, Sydney Rice, of Houston, Texas. He leaves behind two dearly loved grandchildren, Lainey Woolcock and Kent Thompson. Also remaining are his mother-in-law, Nancy Newton; his sisters, Cindi Hock and Lauri Williams; his sister-in-law, Rosaline Williams; his aunts, Carlyne Ballard and Barbara Moreland; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and “adopted” children who all held a special place in his heart. Kenny was a salesman by birth—he could sell ice to an Eskimo! He loved anything peanut butter, but he especially preferred JIF, extra crunchy. He had a passion for motorcycles and the feeling of freedom they brought. Kenny’s legacy will be remembered through his deep care for others and his willingness to help whenever he could. He touched many lives, both in big and small ways. Most of all, Kenny loved his family. He was proud of them and always strove to make them proud of him. Parkinson’s disease slowly stole him away, but our memories—and the love he gave us—will live on forever. Pallbearers-Jason Cartwright, Chris Marciniak, Dave Marshall, Bradley Thompson, Jeremy Williams and Chris Woolcock. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Thompson and Logan Thompson. Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 – 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway in Tyler. If desired, memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in his memory.
