Ronald "Ronnie" Delton Hair

Ronnie Hair passed away peacefully at Hospice of East Texas on May 16, 2015 at the age of 56. Ronnie is survived by his wife, Jan Hair, of Whitehouse, TX; his son as well as his son’s family, Justin and Amanda Hartsfield and grand-daughters Katelyn and Lorin and grandson Tristan, of Groesbeck, TX; and his daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter, Tiffany, Steve and Addison Barnes of Bullard, TX. He is also survived by his mother Jeanette and Papa Jerry Duncan of Howe, OK; his sister and her family, Kim and Lance and nephews Mitchell and Jake Jackson of Rockwall, TX; and Nannie Mary Hair of Streetman, TX. His extended family consists of Jean and Ronnie McClenny; Jeff and Kena McClenny and family; Angela and David Green and family; Kyle and Christina McClenny, all of Lindale, TX; Joan and Mike Smith; Gina and Max Burch and family; Amber and Karl Powell, all of Winona, TX; J.D. Kellum and partner Brian Olivard of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his Uncle Dale and Aunt Judi Stith and family of Arlington, TX. Ronnie Hair was born on December 7, 1958 in Dallas, TX to his caring mother Jeanette Duncan. He married Jan Hair on October 16, 1981 and had a loving marriage of over 34 years. He began his career at Oncor Electric at the age of nineteen and devotedly supported his family as a lineman and crew supervisor of Angelina and Smith Counties. As a father, he taught his children the importance of family, hard work, loyalty and the significance of pursuing their life’s goals. His family remembers him for his unconditional love and support, his dry sense of humor and his amazing cooking skills. He was a generous individual who loved riding Harley Motorcycles, listening to rock-n-roll music, going fishing and hunting, and on occasion, playing a few rounds of golf. Visitation will be held at Stewart Family Funeral Home on May 20, 2015 between the times of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held the following day, May 21, 2015 at Stewart Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., with interment following at Whitehouse Memorial Cemetery on Memory Lane. Andrew Luce will be officiating the ceremony and Johnny Wills will be providing some of Ronnie’s favorite songs on acoustic guitar. The pallbearers will be Joey Jones, Mike Mannix, Joe Greenwell, Steve White, Charles Walker and Stevie Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Smith, Ronnie McClenny, Joe Don Kellum, Jeff McClenny, Kyle McClenny, Michael Jones, Pup Dickerson, Kenneth Kilborn, Larry Williams (Chief), Glen Hogue, Terry Story, Keith Hudson and Billy Limerick.
