Services for Tina Beth (Teter) Heimbaugh, 47, of Flint will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church South Campus with Reverend John Kieschnick officiating. Burial will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler. Mrs. Heimbaugh passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born on August 8, 1961 in Macon, Missouri to David and Wanda Teter. She graduated from Macon High School in 1979 and the University of Missouri in 1983. Tina and her husband, Bill Heimbaugh, were married in 1984 and they are the proud parents of two sons, Andrew and Grant. Tina worked in desktop publishing, as an advertising consultant, accountant, and evangelist. She had a great love for life, her family, piano, Christian music, and witnessing for Christ. Tina was a 14-year breast cancer survivor, and supporter and participant of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. She was also a breast cancer support group leader and public speaker. Tina’s theme for life was “Walking by Faith Under the Double Rainbow of God’s Promise.” Tina is survived by a loving family including her husband, William Alan Heimbaugh of Flint; two sons, William Andrew Heimbaugh and Kenneth Grant Heimbaugh, both of Flint; her parents, David and Wanda Teter of Fayette, MO; grandmother, Maudelle Vansickle of Macon, MO; sister, Kimberly Dee Teter of Houston; brother, David Brandon Teter and fiancé Dr. Jessica Haney of Fayette, MO; mother-in-law, Alberta J. Heimbaugh of Union, MO; aunts and uncles, Mary Lou Teter, Ron and Donna Smith, Charles and Connie Binder, all of Macon, MO, and Keith and Mary C. Botkins of Moberly, MO; and numerous friends, relatives and spiritual partners, and her loving oncologist, Dr. S.J. Vukelja. Pallbearers will be Henry Jones, Ric Steele, Royce Alford, Gary Heimbaugh, Brandon Teter, and Dr. Dick Hurst. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Lackey, Dr. Ernest Brady, and Randy Davis. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, Texas 75703. Memorials in honor of Tina Beth Heimbaugh may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
